Soup Kitchen volunteers come from across central New Jersey to give of their time and energy to make a difference. There are many ways to get involved and lend a helping hand.
Each meal requires 10-12 volunteers to help cook, set up, serve and clean-up. Both groups and individuals can sign up to help. Click here to view our volunteer needs and sign up online.
Groups may contact our Volunteer and Donations Coordinator at (732) 545-9002 ext. 117 to sign up. We can accommodate groups of 5-12 with advance notice. We can enlist the support of 12-20 people during the same shift if we can split your group between the Soup Kitchen, Clothesline and Better World Café. Groups larger than 20 are only scheduled twice a year for Fall and "Spring Cleaning". We suggest you contact us 6-8 weeks prior to schedule a shift.
If you have any difficulties signing up online, please contact the office at (732) 545-9002 ext. 117 or info@elijahspromise.net. Click here to review our Volunteer Manual prior to your scheduled shift.
